Welcome to Bespoke Speech Therapy, a Canberra-based speech pathology service for kids. Bespoke offers therapy services for children aged 0 to 12 years. Assessment and regular therapy services are provided at the clinic in Crace (Gungahlin), while occasional consult services to schools or preschools are available for north-side Canberra.
Bespoke is owned and operated by Aimee Chua. She holds a Master in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Sydney (2006). Aimee has worked in the Liverpool Health Service (NSW), Therapy ACT, as well as private therapy. She has worked in early intervention programs and with school-aged children.
Aimee is trained in the Lidcombe Program for stuttering and is a certified Hanen provider for ‘It Takes Two to Talk’ for early communication. Aimee also has additional training in PROMPT (for speech sounds), Sounds-Write (for literacy) and Talk 4 Writing (school aged oral and written language).
Aimee has worked as a Clinical Supervisor, providing clinical supervision to new graduate and early years Speech Pathologists. She enjoys mentoring other Speech Pathologists. She also held the position of Team Leader for a Speech Pathology practise in Melbourne. She maintains her Certified Practising Speech Pathologist status with Speech Pathology Australia.
Bespoke actively collaborates with parents, pre-schools and schools. Parents and carers are encouraged to be intimately involved in their child’s speech therapy. Therapy involves both working with your child and training parents and carers to work on goals at home. This greatly enhances therapy and sees faster improvements.
